In Loving Memory of Christine (Chrissy) Supporting Our Family Through Loss.

The Freitas Family is heartbroken to share that our beloved daughter and sister, Christine — known to so many as Chrissy or Chris — has passed away.

Chrissy was the light in every room, the kind of person who showed up for others without hesitation. Whether it was with her laughter, her warmth, or just her quiet presence, (and occasionally her loud presence), she made life better for everyone who knew her. We are devastated by her loss and navigating a grief that is hard to put into words.

Many friends and family have reached out asking how they can help. After some thought, we’ve created this space for anyone who would like to support us during this incredibly difficult time.

How your support will help:

• Covering the cost of Instacart and grocery delivery for our family as we grieve and adjust

• Providing flowers and arrangements for Chrissy’s memorial and funeral services

• If there are remaining funds, we will make a donation in Christine’s name to one or two organizations she cared deeply about

This support allows us to focus on healing and honoring Chrissy, without the added stress of some of the everyday logistics that can feel so heavy right now.

We’re so grateful for your love, your messages, and any contribution you’re able to make — no matter the amount. Chrissy would be overwhelmed by the kindness, just as we are.
