Hi there. My name is Lyndsey Fedorko. I am Barrett's Aunt and Ross's sister. Our sweet nephew Barrett needs your prayers and support.

Just a few weeks ago, Barrett began having what seemed like a simple stomach bug. But everything changed when he suddenly spiked a fever and lost the ability to move his arms and legs. After an urgent clinic visit that then became an ambulance ride to the children's hospital, a PICU admission as well as MRIs, and countless tests, doctors diagnosed him with Cervical Transverse Myelitis, a rare condition caused by inflammation in his spinal cord.

He will be starting high-dose steroid treatments to reduce inflammation and his recovery will take time. This has been emotionally and financially overwhelming for my brother and his wife, with hospital stays, travel, and time away from work piling up quickly. As Barrett’s aunt, I’ve watched my own family walk through every parent’s worst nightmare, and it breaks my heart to see my brother and sister in law have to go through this with their sweet baby.
