Our beloved François Fouquerel passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on October 2, 2024. His death leaves a gaping chasm in all of our hearts, of course, but it also puts his family in the position of suddenly needing to both cover memorial expenses and carry on living on François’ beloved wife Ann’s single income.

The Fouquerel-Skoe family is a paragon to all of us of what it means to live in profoundly interdependent way with community and with the earth. They are people who always have a couch to sleep on, a warm meal to fill your belly, a seat in the back of the car on the way to your destination, and a cozy wool blanket to tuck around your shoulders on a chilly evening. In this devastating moment, let’s lift them up in love and take away any financial anxiety so they have the space for sweet memories and good grieving.
