It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Roman G. Flores, a dedicated husband, father, and law enforcement officer who served Hidalgo County for 20 years as a Sergeant Sheriff’s Deputy. Roman passed away on October 14, 2025, leaving behind his loving wife Jessica Herrera Flores, their three children: Roman Jr., Joshua, and Josiah, and his extended family.

Roman was a man who valued family above all else. He was known for his warmth, his love of fishing, and his passion for cooking and barbecuing for those he cared about. His commitment to serving the community and his devotion to his family made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

As his family navigates this difficult time, they are facing unexpected financial burdens. This fundraiser aims to provide support to Jessica and the children, helping with funeral expenses and other immediate needs.
