Support the First Janakpur Hackathon

We are thrilled to announce the Janakpur Hackathon, an exciting 48-hour event that will take place from 23rd November to 24th November 2024 at Janak Chowk, Janakpur. This is the first-ever hackathon in Janakpur, designed to bring together talented individuals from all over Nepal including diverse communities, particularly underprivileged groups, to collaborate and build innovative tech solutions. The hackathon will provide participants with a platform to showcase their skills and creativity while competing for prizes and opportunities to work with tech leaders.

We aim to encourage inclusivity and innovation in the Madhesh tech community. There is no entry fee, as we have designed it to be accessible to all, regardless of background.

As the non-profit division of Neelgai organizes this event, we are seeking your support to make the Janakpur Hackathon a success. The total cost of organizing the hackathon is USD 5000. We would be grateful for any contribution towards these costs, whether through financial support or in-kind donations such as sponsoring meals, printing T-shirts or sponsoring prizes. Your support will help foster a culture of innovation in Janakpur and empower local talent to secure opportunities in Nepal and internationally.
