We’re proud to share an exciting opportunity for the Travis Ranch Elementary & Middle School Robotics Team, The F.I.R.E. S.H.A.R.K.S., a team of seven dedicated students in grades 4–8 who have had an extraordinary competition season.
The team earned 1st Place Championships at both the Qualifying and Regional levels, advancing to the State Championship where they were awarded 1st Place in the Core Values Award. This award is one of the highest honors in FIRST LEGO League, recognizing teams that exemplify teamwork, inclusion, innovation and leadership, celebrating not just what students build, but how they learn, collaborate, and support one another.
As a result of this achievement, The F.I.R.E. S.H.A.R.K.S. were selected as one of only ten teams out of 550 to advance to a world stage. In June 2026, the team will proudly represent Southern California and Yorba Linda, CA at the Canada Cup of Robotics in Niagara Falls, where they will compete against 90 teams from around the world.
The F.I.R.E. S.H.A.R.K.S. are proudly supported by the Yorba Linda REACH Foundation, and all donations are tax-deductible. Contributions will help cover competition registration, travel, food, and lodging.
