On November 5, 2025, Conde Nast management illegally fired four union leaders — Alma Avalle, Ben Dewey, Jake Lahut, and Jasper Lo.

While the union fights this egregious and illegal union-busting move by management, the “Fired Four” have been left with no severance and no COBRA health coverage.

The funds raised will be divided among them and used for purposes of paying rent, buying groceries, paying medical bills, funding unforeseen expenses such as purchasing personal laptops, and other immediate living needs.
