Support the Finizio Family

On Friday, July 29th we heard the devastating news that Ellie has been diagnosed with leukemia. Ellie, Matt and Laura have been at Boston Children’s since Friday when they got the news. She has been admitted and is undergoing lots of procedures and tests to get a clearer picture of the type and severity of leukemia. As of now, the plan is to treat with chemo first and then a bone marrow transplant. They have been told to prepare to be admitted for several months while she undergoes treatment. Laura, Matt and Ellie all have a long road ahead of them, with many months spent living at Boston Children's hospital. We have had many people ask how they could help, which led us to create the page for the family. The goal of this page is to help ease the financial burden this will put on their family. Donations will be used for Ellie's medical bills, food, lodging and anything else the family may need to support them through this difficult time. We will be providing updates on this page as we have them.
