Hey everyone! I have a big life update and a quick, important ask!

I successfully finished the demanding textbook year of my Occupational Therapy Assisting (OTA) program and passed each quarter with honors!

What Is OT? (The Short Version)
Not a lot of people understand what occupational therapy is, so here is a little info about what I am learning to do!
Occupational therapy is all about helping people, from kids to seniors, do the things they want and need to do in daily life. We help patients regain independence after an injury, illness, or disability. My goal for the future is to work in pediatrics once I graduate, pass the board exam, and become licensed.

Full-Time Fieldwork: The Finish Line
I’m now in the final phase: full-time, unpaid fieldwork!
For the next two quarters, I’m essentially working 9 AM to 5 PM every day out in the real occupational therapy world! This fall quarter, I am in a skilled nursing facility (nursing home). I’m being supervised by a certified OTA, learning the ropes, handling treatments, and eventually taking on my own full caseload. This hands-on experience is the final requirement before I can take my board exam (NBCOT) and get licensed!

Here’s Where I Need Your Help
The downside to being in fieldwork full-time is the no-pay part. I have zero time for a job, but my financial needs haven't stopped and life is expensive!
I'm asking for support to help me cross the finish line by covering two essential needs:
1. Daily Living Expenses: Funds for rent, food, essential bills, and gas for my daily 30-minute commute.
2. Finishing My Degree: Funds to help pay off the final balance of my tuition and school fees.

Any donation—no matter how small—will let me focus 100% on my patients and training, instead of worrying about bills. You'd be investing directly in my ability to help others.
