My name is Jimmy Castro. I am an independent filmmaker and produced my first film in 2015, a documentary film entitled "Back To Las Villas!"

I am currently in the final phase of production on my second film, also a documentary, "A Homeless Life: The Forgotten Souls," which is about the unfortunate plight of homeless veterans in the United States.

Because of budget restraints, it is taking me much longer to complete this production, which is why I have opened this campaign. I initially never intended to do this, but have decided to request support. This project will not be a "for profit" project, with my intention to only offer it to PBS stations across the country to show the documentary to their viewers.
