Support The Fight to Bring Noah Home

Donation protected
Hi, I’m Yvonne a 30-year-old first-time mom of a little boy named Noah and I’m raising funds to bring him back home after he was kidnapped by his father.

Noah is a U.S. citizen who is currently being wrongfully kept in Mexico by his father without valid documentation or his U.S. passport. While we originally moved as a family , we eventually decided to end our toxic relationship so we could focus on co-parenting and giving Noah the best life possible. I returned to the U.S. for work and to stabilize myself as a newly single mom , and his father offered to keep Noah so he could finish out the school year.

But in 2024, when Noah was supposed to be returned, his father began trying to extort me for his legal documents. When I refused, he stopped answering my calls and began cutting off communication completely — not just with me, but with family and friends who are close to Noah and support me. I flew to Mexico for Noah’s birthday — and his father wouldn’t open the door. I called the police. I filed missing persons reports in both Mexico and the U.S. I’ve sent money. I’ve begged. I’ve tried everything I can do to resolve this peacefully. I have no other choice now but to pursue legal action.

His father knows the reality of my situation. We were in a relationship for eight years — he knows that I come from a broken family, that my parents are dead, and that I don’t have a strong support system. He is banking on the fact that no one cares about me enough to support me. That I don’t have enough people in my corner. That he can continue doing what he wants without consequences.

I refuse to let that be the end of this story.

I’ve tried to carry this on my own for a year, but I’m not making the progress I need to. So I’m putting my pride to the side and asking for help — from family, from friends, from strangers. I’ve done a lot this year in Atlanta when it comes to community care work. Despite this situation and everything else I’ve been hit with, I continue to show up for my community — organizing mutual aid, food distributions, and hygiene kits for the unhoused. So I know people care. I know they just need the opportunity to show up — and that’s why I’m bringing this here.

I’ve been struggling to even keep a steady income due to the stress and pain of being separated from my son. It’s affected every part of my life. And again — this isn’t about me. This is about Noah. He’s turning 11 this year. He’s been without his mom for a year.

I know what it felt like at 15 to lose my own mother. I can’t imagine the confusion and emotional toll this is taking on him — knowing I’m alive, but we’re not together. That’s what hurts the most.

That’s why I’m urgently asking — begging — for support from anyone who has the ability to help.

I need to complete these legal steps as soon as possible. The longer Noah remains in Mexico, the harder it becomes — legally and emotionally — to bring him back home, especially with the current political climate and instability around immigration in Mexico.

I’m running out of time. And I’m doing everything in my power to bring my baby boy back.
