This past month has thrown curveball after curveball for us in the Beimert House!!

Jeff has been struggling with loss of feeling in his legs and back for a few months now. They’ve done a bunch of tests and they finally did an MRI and yesterday we finally found that his spinal nerve is deteriorating and has arthritis on it. He has to have surgery in June to fuse it and repair it and he will have a 3 month recovery.

Needless to say he has a 5 lb weight limit until the surgery because of risk of paralysis. We are a disaster!!

Little did I know that while waiting for routine mammogram in April, life would throw me a curveball—I’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer. I’ve been told we caught it early and I’m ready to fight with everything I’ve got. I’m sharing this because I know many of you have faced hard things too, and your strength inspires me.

I have surgery next week and a lot of people have reached out to offer help! We are anticipating a lot of medical bills in the coming months. I appreciate all prayers, positive vibes, or magic potions that you may have! And if you’re over 40, go in for your regular mammograms, do it for me!
