Support the fight against Leukemia

Hi, I'm Anthony Gates, and sadly I'm here to ask for your help.

How this began.

On December 28th, 2021 I was sitting in a chair in my living room talking to my puppy trying to explain to him that if I never saw him again it wasn't his fault and that I loved him more than anything in this world. All I knew at the time was that the hospital I had just come from wanted to put me in an ambulance for a two hour drive to Rochester MN immediately. They had found cancer, and it was bad.

I packed, cried, and drove myself to Rochester where I luckily have an incredible friend that I went and cried with. I couldn't do any of this without the support of my friends and they’ve been so kind and amazing that it hurts to still ask for more.

Only a day in at the hospital and two bone marrow biopsies later did we get the full picture. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia b-cell w/ Philadelphia+.

It's been two years since that day now I've been through everything imaginable and I’m still fighting, still trying day by day to win against this stupid disease and the bone marrow transplant required to keep it from ever coming back. I've got a list of pills and side effects a mile long including immunosuppressants and a broken back. But I will fight and I will win.

Which is where you can help. I'm doing my best to sustain everything, but I've come to the point where I've exhausted my life savings entirely and maxed out my credit cards. The support and help I've already received I'm grateful for beyond words but any and all additional help would be greatly appreciated.

First and foremost any funds will go to paying off a rather large pile of debts that have started to accumulate. Medical, credit, and monthly bills. I'm attempting to find work but due to my current limitations it's very difficult to find the right fit so I've been working on my very own project coming soon!
