The Field School is a six-week immersion program that places students in traditional communities—like the mountain villages of the Republic of Georgia—where we live with the locals we’re there to learn from.
No big aid agenda. No quick-fix projects.
Instead: Shared Meals. Ancient Churches. Dirt Roads. Honest Work. Local Mentors. Deep Humility. A masterclass in what it means to be a good neighbor.
In a world of distraction and disconnection, The Field School is a liminal moment—a chance for students, gap-years, and sojourners to learn the philosophy of aid and the humanities in the most honest way possible: by simply being human, relating to locals in a unique corner of the world. Field School students return home not only transformed, but ready—equipped with the humility and confidence needed to grow into roles that serve others.
Your gift to the Field School is a one-two punch to both the material poverty of our overseas neighbors, and the spiritual poverty of our own individualistic, screen addicted society. Our goal of $2500 will help us:
- Provide practical necessities for this inaugural trip (books, first aid kits, in country phone service, tents and sleeping bags for awesome adventures.)
- Give students scholarships
