The Ferrin family is one of those rare families that everyone loves. If you know them, you know how kind, genuine, and uplifting they are. Through the years, they’ve faced challenges that would bring many to their knees, yet they’ve continued to move forward with strength and grace.

In 2021, Jeff underwent a heart transplant, a life-changing event that could have broken their spirits. Instead, the Ferrins chose to embrace every single day with gratitude and positivity. To those around them, you’d never guess the struggles they’ve endured; their resilience and love have always shone through.

Now, they are facing another heartbreaking challenge. On Monday, Liam was rushed to urgent care with severe chest pain. His blood pressure was too low to register, and his heart rate had spiked to 250s. They immediately sent him to the Emergency room, where doctors had to shock his heart three times in an attempt to get his heart back in rhythm, but were unsuccessful. From there, he was life-flighted to Children’s Mercy, where he is now in the Cardiovascular ICU. Doctors are running extensive tests to determine the next steps for this bright young boy, who should have been starting 8th grade and heading to football practice this week.

The road ahead will be long and uncertain, and the family needs our love and support now more than ever. We are asking for your help, whether through donations, prayers, or sharing their story.
