Support the Fergen family (Aaron, Meagan, Carter, Gavin + Pups) as they try to rebuild from the devastating flooding of their home due to Hurricane Helene
From the late hours of Thursday, September 26th into the early hours of Friday, September 27th, Hurricane Helene pushed unprecedented storm surge through Tampa Bay and into the Fergen home. We are so extremely thankful that everyone is safe, however, their home and belongings experienced unimaginable damage from the surge waters.
The Fergen family is not one to ask for help, no matter how in need they are. Meagan spends countless hours helping other families through her work and personal life. She is an active and supportive member of her local Mom’s Group and continues to put other’s needs before her own.
Currently, the family is staying almost 2 hours away from work, school + their remaining belongings, together in a small spare room while they await information on rentals and next steps.
While they work hard to bring comfort + care to their young kiddos and two pups in the coming days/weeks/months, I know that Meagan and Aaron are facing a very long, challenging road back to normalcy for their family.
Right now, in addition to being unable to live in their home, they also need to replace everyday necessities like medicine, food, pet supplies, diapers, wipes and more. Many of their belongings, like furniture and toys, are unsalvageable in addition to countless childhood/lifelong mementos that can never be replaced.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in supporting them during this difficult period.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity in supporting my dear friend and her family. Our hearts go out to every single person, family + community impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Helene.
