Hello My name is Jodi Gornick and on Monday, May 15th my son-in-law was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident in Tennessee.
Paul Dupuis married my daughter and they have two beautiful children together, Grayson (2 years old) and Paisley (1 year old). Paul and Whitney were both born and raised in New Hampshire and moved to Tennessee almost 3 years ago. We are trying to bring him home to New Hampshire to be buried with his pre-deceased grandparents.
This sudden and tragic loss has all of us in a tailspin. The little ones don't understand why daddy is not home and they are too young to understand. My heart is breaking seeing my daughter go through this and the shock waves throughout Paul's family and friends is devastating.
I have struggled to find the words to convey this loss and I have none. My daughter said it best in a small tribute to her husband.
"I just saw you... I just kissed you. I just don't know anymore. You were taken from us way to soon. It's not fair, your suppose to still be here. You are my best friend, my partner, my soul mate, the one that made me a mother...the father to our beautiful kids. I don't know how to live this life without you and I don't want to live this life without you by my side. I'm so scared and lost. I cant sleep, i cant eat, i cant go 5 minutes without crying. I love you more than you will ever know, our kids love you so much, I'm trying to be strong for them but it's so hard without you. I just want you home with us but you were taken too soon. I will live everyday with you in my heart. I love you so much and I will never stop loving you. You were my whole world and I just can't believe you are gone. I promise to try and stay strong for our kids and I will always make sure they know how amazing there daddy was and how much you loved them. Rest in peace baby, i love you."
Whitney, Grayson and Paisley need your help with medical bills, funeral expenses, and lost income. Please consider donating if you are able. Thank you, on behalf of the Dupuis family.
