On January 9th, 2023 the world suddenly and very tragically lost Redonna Johnson, leaving behind two amazing & becoming young sons. The coming together of friends, loved ones and her Sunrun family is without question as we want to help with the burden of any expenses and make sure that her two boys are taken care of.
Our Sunrun sister Redonna...or Don Don as everyone called her was something else. From the minute she entered your life you knew she was there to stay. Her constant positivity, even during very tough times, was something that she was known for. Don Don wasn't one to complain about life...when she saw an opportunity she took it head on and ran. Nurturing and improving her boys' lives was her ultimate mission in life...and we all knew that. Saying she loved them is an understatement. All of us at Sunrun knew this and in turn, made us love her even more.
At 30, you have your whole life ahead of you. The future is yours to do with as you choose. Don Don chose to love and give. She selflessly volunteered to feed the homeless during the holidays, attending every single sporting event to support her boys, checking on local youth and being an active part of her community. She always had the backs of co-workers without asking for anything in return. She was real and brought that realness to the table while keeping us laughing. Her presence will be missed by everyone, including her family here at Sunrun.
Money can't fix everything but it can help. Her family, especially her boys need our help & support now more than ever. Whether you are family, co-workers, friends or acquaintances...one thing is certain, Don Don made her mark and she will never be forgotten. Let's show our love & support to her family with anything...even a dollar. Nothing is too small in comparison to what she gave us and what she left us with. Thank you!
