Support the Family of Officer Hollingsworth

We were devastated to hear the heartbreaking news of the loss of Officer Scott Hollingsworth who was killed by a drunk driver coming home from his shift in Clearwater, Kansas March 16, 2024. He was dedicated to God, his family, and his community by serving others. He had just passed his one year anniversary with the Clearwater Police Department. His commitment to serving and protecting was unwavering, and his absence leaves a profound void in our hearts.

Scottie was an outstanding husband to Hadley and an amazing father to Claire. He was also a friend to whomever needed help. His 6 foot 9 inch frame often made others uncomfortable, but to see that huge smile quickly showed you that he was caring and willing to help you.

He was the best hugger! Being so tall, Scottie's wing span would just wrap around you and hug you tightly. You could feel his love for you every time you saw him. He would always make you laugh with his silliness. He was generous and loving. He made you feel like you were the most important person when you were with him.

Scottie and Hadley recently bought a house and were in the process of renovating it. Just last week, he texted me some photos of his handiwork. This was a huge project but together, they, Scottie and Hadley, were creating their dreams. Now, she will need the financial help to do it on her own.

In this difficult time, we are coming together to support Officer Hollingsworth's family as they navigate through this unimaginable loss. We have launched this GoFundMe campaign to provide financial assistance to his grieving widow, helping to cover immediate expenses such as funeral arrangements and ongoing support for his wife and daughter.

No amount of money can ever replace the life of Scottie but together, we can alleviate some of the financial burdens that his family now faces.
