It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Nelly Montoya, who left us peacefully on October 24, 2025, at the remarkable age of 111. Born on January 2, 1914, Nelly lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, strength, and grace. She touched the lives of everyone around her — a true matriarch whose kindness, wisdom, and laughter will never be forgotten. Nelly lived her whole life in Queens NY, while working in Forrest Hills. She never married and never had any children of her own. She lived on her own and was healthy, never having to take any prescription medications until she had a stroke and unfortunately passed away.

As her family prepares to say their final goodbyes, we are asking for your support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses. Nelly unfortunately outlived her pension and any life savings she had. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden on Nelly’s loved ones during this difficult time.
