Hello, My name is Ashlyn, Mark's niece. Mark tragically and unexpectedly passed away on the morning of 08/09/2023 from injuries he sustained in an accidental fall while away at a race with his brother and father near Appleton, WI. He fell about 20 feet, breaking both hips, his pelvis, a rib, some vertebrae and also damaged his aorta. He was airlifted to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee where Jen was able to spend his final days with him.

This unexpected tragedy comes with significant costs to Jen who is now a single mom to three amazing children, one of whom was recently diagnosed with diabetes.

I decided to set this up so that friends, family, and community could show support for Mark's family at this time of loss.
