Dear Friends, Family, and Thoughtful Supporters,

We are Jenn and Tara, and it is with heavy hearts that we reach out to you for your support. Our beloved Kevin Cwanek, a cherished family man and friend, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, leaving behind a family who now faces not only the emotional burden of this tremendous loss but also significant financial challenges.

Kevin was a beacon of light to all those who knew him, always ready to lend a helping hand and share a smile and a heartfelt laugh. His departure has left a void that words cannot fill. As his family navigates through this incredibly difficult time, we are coming together to offer our support and alleviate some of the financial stress they are enduring.

Anyone who knew Kevin knows he had a passion for bird watching, hockey, firepit fun, and spending time with his beloved dog, Coda. Above all, he cherished his family and friends. He was sweet, kind, courageous, devoted, and had a playful side that often led to harmless mischief.

Kevin was the “yes” guy-the guy you could count on and who was always up for anything with anyone. He was the guy you just wanted to be around. His smile made everyone smile. His eyes lit up a room. Being around him raised the bar on friendships and simply made you feel like a better person while in his presence. "If only there were more Kevins in the world…"

Last October, Tara and Eric spent the day with Kevin at their farm, to just “be”… They took the four wheelers out and drove through the trails and around the property. Lots of special heartfelt moments were shared, but the reality was they didn't do anything wildly special. What made the day special was that they were together, with Kevin.

Kevin's love extended to his furry friends, as well. He would readily offer to catsit Jenn and Scott’s kitty, CB, who absolutely adored Kevy. During CB's decline, both Kevin and Jen were right by their sides, offering friendship, compassion, and unwavering support.

Cherished memories like these truly capture Kevin's character and his steadfast commitment to enjoying life and helping others.

We have set up this GoFundMe page to raise funds that will go directly towards supporting Kevin's family with immediate expenses, including memorial costs, daily living expenses, and future needs.
