It is with great sadness that we share the news of the sudden death of our beloved Julianne...
Julianne M Carlisle (formerly Elliott) passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 16th, 2021.
Julianne was born on May 13, 1985 in Boston, MA and spent the majority of her younger years growing up on Cape Cod. She enjoyed many activities but Judo was her passion winning many championship titles across the U.S. After graduation she attended college and also enlisted in the Army serving two tours in Iraq. She served as a Military Police Officer and was stationed at Camp Victory in Iraq from 2007-8 and in Camp Taji from 2009-10. She received 2 ARCOMs, 2 AAMs, a distinguished service award and two campaign medals. Following her tours she attended ECPI to attain her RN nursing degree and was an Emergency Room nurse.
Her greatest accomplishment was her family-she married her husband Josh in 2011 and they made a loving home together in Charles Town, WV. They brought two beautiful children into the world. Gabbie , 6, and Henry, 3, who were the loves of her life. She was an attentive, caring mom who made every moment special for them.
Julianne’s bright smile always lit up any room she walked into. She was a gentle soul, always putting others first as was evident by not only her family, but by the service she gave to her country and all of her patients.
Julianne’s strength and determination gave her the wings to pursue her dreams. She can now use those same strong, beautiful wings to reunite with her dad and brother who are waiting for her with open arms.
“You may not have known this Julianne but you were the wind beneath many people’s wings and you are truly our hero.”
Julianne is survived by her husband, Josh Bret Carlisle, daughter Gabrielle Eve Carlisle and son Henry Michael Carlisle in addition to her beloved dog, Max Sam. She was the daughter of Teri Ann Elliott, and the late Robert Elliott and sister of Robert Augustus (Gus) Elliott and the late Steven Elliott. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her eternally.
Please consider making a donation to support her family (her husband Josh and two small children) at this difficult time. The funds would help defray funeral costs and aid them with any immediate needs they may have like childcare, etc...
FAMILY AND FRIENDS of Julianne-Please also share this on your FB pages and include any family I may have not tagged.
