Donate to Support Brandes Family (Laura and the 3 boys)

Joshua Vance Brandes, 43, of Decatur passed away Tuesday, October 1st, 2024.

Joshua was born July 11th, 1981 in Amarillo, Texas. He was united in marriage April 22nd, 2006 to Laura Hilton in Ellis County, Texas. Joshua was a Fire Engine Operator with the Irving Fire Department, also a Police Officer for the Decatur Police Department in Wise County. He was a beloved son, husband, father, and friend to many who will dearly miss him.

All donated funds will be used to purchase materials for some projects that we are completing around Laura Brandes and her boys’ house. The remainder of the funds (if any) will be given to Laura and the boys as a gift. Any gift helps and is greatly appreciated, thank you!
