Support the family of Joi Weeks

Joi Weeks was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and colleague. She was also a scientist, teacher, mentor, athlete, gardener, and future professor. Joi was far too young when she lost her fight with breast cancer, leaving behind her husband Kirk and two children, Sun and Trinity. All who knew Joi were drawn to her -- her infectious laugh, her deep empathy, her brilliant mind, her talent to teach and mentor, and her extraordinary work ethic are all things we will so deeply miss. Dr. Weeks had just just earned her PhD in cancer research in May before her own diagnosis in July, and tragic death this September. We thank you for donating funds to bridge expenses for her family related to memorial expenses and loss of primary income.
