Support the family of Husband & Teacher, M. Beaver

On January 19th, 2021 the world lost a beloved husband, father, son, teacher, coach, coworker, and friend.
Healthy, 40-year old, Matthew Beaver, PE teacher at Knox Middle School in Salisbury, North Carolina, passed away suddenly from complications from Covid-19.
Coach Beaver was the definition of an all-around, selfless man. He was loved by his family, friends, coworkers, students, and EVERYONE who met him. He is a God-fearing man, who truly touched the lives of so many. He is the teacher every parent would hope their child would have, a true role model.
This is a tremendous loss for his family, Knox Middle School, and our community.
Matthew leaves behind his wife Ruth, also a teacher in North Carolina, and their two beautiful children Jackson (5) and Ella (3).
Our goal is to raise money to rally behind the Beaver's and their young family as they now navigate through this difficult time and help them to prepare for the future ahead.
The Knox Cares Committee will also be in contact with his family to provide meals, gift cards, and support. If you would like to contribute in another way feel free to send any donations or love to:
