For the Family of Erick Krouse & Elizabeth Sekera

Erick died in a tragic hiking accident on February 22, 2024, leaving behind a wife, two beautiful children, and a community of family and friends who are devastated at the thought of a world without him in it.

To know Erick was to know that his family was his everything. His love for and devotion to Elizabeth, Harley (8) and Frankie (5) defined him. He was the heart of the family, the core that held everything together. It is impossible to overstate how greatly his loss will impact his family's ability to function in the day to day, to say nothing of the months and years it will take for them to rebuild their lives without him.

No amount of money could ever fill the hole that Erick's death will leave in the hearts of his family. But it will pay for groceries, bills, and end of life costs. It will buy meals and hire childcare. It will cover therapy appointments and ice cream cones. And it will help secure the children's future. In short, it will afford them the luxury of time to grieve and to care for themselves and one another as they try to pick up the pieces.

And so we turn to you, as people who love and are loved by Elizabeth, Harley and Frankie to ask for your support. Your contributions will offer them some stability in this time of great sorrow and will give them some breathing room as they begin to contemplate what comes next.
