Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts to share the unexpected passing of our beloved father, and grandfather, David Echegoyen. He was a devoted father to his son Anthony, and his daughter-in-law Chloe and a cherished grandfather to his five grandchildren, Cooper, Ant, Fox, Jet and Sky. David, was only 65 when he passed so unexpectedly. David had struggled for over 30 years with his health, and his conditions had posed significant financial challenges for our family.
In December 2022, we helped David move close to us, so that he could spend more time with his family and we could help look after him. Tragically, that was short lived and unforeseen, as he only got to spend 5 short months in his new home. We are so very grateful for those beautiful 5 months; he made every effort to travel down to the park to watch the kids practice and play sports. He babysat and got to spend a lot more time with our family. We know he enjoyed those last few months so very close to us, forming unbreakable bonds with his grandkids.
We have created this GoFundMe campaign to seek your support in helping us cover the costs of the mortuary and other related expenses. David's disability had limited his ability to work and save for unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, the burden of his medical expenses had already placed a strain on our family's financial resources. His sudden passing has left us in an even more precarious situation, struggling to cover the costs of the necessary arrangements.
We kindly ask for your generous contributions to alleviate the financial burden on our family. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference and would be deeply appreciated. Your support will help us ensure that David's legacy is honored with a proper farewell and provide some relief to his son Anthony and the five grandchildren he adored.
During these trying times, the power of community and compassion becomes even more evident. We are immensely grateful for your love, support, and any contributions you can make. Please help us spread the word by sharing this campaign with your network. Together, let's give David the farewell he deserves and support his family during their time of need.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
