It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic news of the passing of Chris Burbine on Monday, February 16th, 2026, at the young age of 49. Chris was a cherished member of our community, known for his immense sense of humor, boisterous personality, and his loving charisma towards family and friends. He touched the lives of many with his warmth, smiles, and compassion.

In this time of grief, we are coming together to support Chris' family, who are facing not only the emotional burden of this loss but also the financial challenges that come with it. They have experienced a tragedy that no family should ever have to endure. He leaves behind his loving wife Mary Burbine (McGillicuddy) and his two beautiful children – Alana (18) and Jake (13). Mary is now confronted with unexpected expenses such as funeral costs; and, more importantly, must accept the sole responsibility of paying for critical necessities for her family like mortgage/insurance expenses, household bills, education for her children, food, and all the essentials – without the critical income that Chris provided.

We have created this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the financial stress during this incredibly difficult time. Your generous contributions will go directly towards Chris’ family – ensuring Mary, Alana, and Jake will be able to adjust to their new way of life without Chris, and to make sure they can continue to live their lives the way they would as if Chris were still here.
