Help Us Support the Family of Celeste Mendoza-Galvan
We are heartbroken to share that Celeste Mendoza-Galvan, a beloved member of our White Pass family, passed away suddenly at the age of 42.
Celeste was a cherished part of the Day Lodge crew. Known for her warm smile, her great attitude, and the way she made even the busiest days feel manageable, her presence brought calm, kindness, and compassion to both guests and crew members.
Celeste’s love for White Pass ran deep—so much so that she encouraged her teenage sons, daughter-in-law, and brother to join our team as well. She built a family here, both at home and on the mountain.
Many of you will remember Celeste and her family showing up to support our Ski and Snowboard Team fundraiser, always willing to give to the community. Today, it’s our turn to give back.
Celeste leaves behind a loving family of five (with her first grandchild on the way), who are now facing unimaginable loss. We’re asking our community to come together in her honor and support the people she loved most as they navigate this difficult time.
If you're able, please consider donating to help ease the financial burden on her family. Every contribution—no matter the size—will make a difference.
