On August 9, 2022 our dear friend and coworker, Brandon Avant was killed in a tragic car accident in Ellenwood, GA, not far from the home he shared with his family. Brandon was a devoted husband to his beautiful wife, Lacey and a dedicated father to their six wonderful children. Brandon also created a family during his four-plus years working for Peachtree Junk Removal. While focusing on his family, he expressed the same energy and love to those who knew him professionally. As the Operations Manager, Brandon was a leader at Peachtree Junk Removal; he took the opportunity to mentor many men, young and old, showing them how to further themselves in life. Everyone has a story about what Brandon did to help them; most recently, he was using his vehicle to pick up a fellow employee and make sure he got to work after his car had to be put in the shop. This example describes Brandon perfectly; he gave so much to those around him and will forever be missed.
At only 37 years old, he had wisdom beyond his years and always set an example for how to treat others. His untimely death leaves an unimaginable void for all who loved and depended on him, especially Lacey and their children. Brandon and Lacey were best friends, and anyone who knew them also knew this. They had a special love for each other and their children. They were a dynamic team, celebrating the joy of purchasing their first home for their family in 2019.
We believe the best way to honor Brandon is to do all we can to come together for Lacey. So many of you have reached out to the family and have reached out to us professionally to ask how you can help. We set up this page to assist the family with immediate funeral expenses. Lacey is also employed for Peachtree Junk Removal in our accounting department. With our full support, she is taking a much-needed break from work to be with her family. She will be dealing with the loss of Brandon's income. He was an excellent provider and contributed significantly to his family through his salary, as does Lacey with her work. Still, there was no life insurance policy, and they were unprepared for such a substantial financial strain all at once. Your contribution will allow Brandon's family to grieve and take care of immediate financial needs and is an opportunity to give back to the beloved family of a man who gave so much of himself.
Much love to all of you as we continue to mourn this unthinkable loss together,
Ryan and all of Brandon's family at Peachtree Junk Removal (on behalf of Lacey and their children)
