Support the family of Athena Strand

This fundraiser is on behalf of the entire Strand family that resides in Texas, after the horrifying loss of seven-year-old Athena Strand. Athena was first reported missing from Paradise, Texas on Wednesday, November 30th, and her body was confirmed to have been recovered late Friday night on December 2nd. Her life was taken from her too soon. 

Our goal is to support Athena’s family in any way we can. The family will be seeking justice for their little girl. This will cover attorney fees, bills while the whole family is in a leave of absence and cannot work, and anything else that will help them attempt to recover in this horrific time in their lives.

In order to take the burden from the parents, Athena’s Aunt, Kayla Strand Kaul, the father’s sister, will be the point person for taking care of the family. She has been their go to person for care and comfort and will continue to be so throughout this process.

We are going to take care of whatever the parents, Jacob Strand and Ashley Strand need.  We also stand with Athena’s biological mother, Maitlyn Gandy, as we are all family and will support each other in whatever we can.
