Evelyn found inspiration in the world around her—some of her favorites were blooming flowers, a portrait of her grandson, and many more. Her art was not just a pastime; it was her voice, a way to express the beauty she saw in everyday life.

As she grew older, her passion for art deepened. She attended art classes, where she met fellow artists who shared her enthusiasm. After an illness with Primary Progressive Aphasia, she passed away, leaving the community heartbroken. Her friends and family are determined to honor her memory and keep her spirit alive. They remembered her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering support for the arts.

In her honor, the family has decided to establish the "Evelyn M. Winters Art Scholarship." The scholarship is aimed to support young artists, providing them with the resources they need to pursue their dreams. It would cover art supplies, classes, and even funds for art exhibitions.
