I'm on a mission!
All my work – teaching, coaching, speaking, writing – is informed by one simple idea: Practicing empathy on purpose contributes to a more just, peaceful, and sustainable world and helps people live healthier, happier, and more meaningful lives.
I wrote Purposeful Empathy: Tapping Our Hidden Superpower for Personal, Organizational, and Social Change to inspire readers and give them tools to become more empathic leaders, citizens, parents, policy-makers, activists, etc.
Now it's time to scale! Here's what I have planned:
- Host a book launch on April 19 (in person and live streamed)
- Go on a multi-city book tour (East Coast, West Coast, Europe & Middle East)
- Curate a global hybrid empathy summit (working title: Putting Empathy to Work)
- Launch an online empathy course (working title: Becoming an Empathic Leader)
- Found a non-profit organization that will offer empathy training to youth, educators, health-care professionals, social entrepreneurs, humanitarians, etc.)
- Grow my advisory firm to create bespoke empathy training for leaders and organizations
- Promote my podcast/YouTube series (120+ episodes=20K+ views, without SEO... Imagine what a little ad spend could do!)
- Onboard and manage a talented team, dedicated to my mission
- And so much more! I'm just getting started...!

About Me
I'm an empathy expert (aka evangelist), author, keynote & TEDx speaker, podcaster, award-winning educator, certified coach, and founder of Purposeful Empathy by Design, a boutique advisory firm that helps purpose-driven organizations create cultures of empathy and social impact.
Passionate about mentoring the next generation of changemakers, I teach Leadership, Ethics in Management and Social Entrepreneurship & Innovation at McGill University in Montreal, where I was named Professor of the Year in 2014 and 2019.
My podcast & YouTube series, Purposeful Empathy, is dedicated to amplifying the voices of people from around the globe who understand the world needs more empathy – and are doing something about it.
