Support the El Sereno Music Students

We are proud families and community members of the El Sereno Community Music Booster program, united in support of the talented young musicians at El Sereno middle school in Los Angeles. Home of the inspiring Jaguar Orchestra, Jaguar guitar ensemble and Mariachi Los Jaguares.

Thanks to the careful supervision and dedication of our passionate music teacher Miss Austin, music is thriving at her school in less than three years. She has rebuilt the program with the vibrant mariachi ensemble, our harmonious guitar ensemble, and inspiring Orchestra. Under her leadership, our students have grown as musicians gained confidence and found joy in performing together.

Now these hard-working students have earned an extra extraordinary opportunity - A chance to perform live on professional stage at Knotts Berry Farm on May 17, 2025.

This performance is more than just a concert. It’s a milestone moment. It represents the power of preserving teamwork, and the magic that music can bring to a young person ‘s life for many of our students. This will be the first time performing in such a young prestigious setting and a memory. They will cherish forever (But we need your help to make it happen!)

As a Title one school, many of our families, the face financial hardships and the cost for transportation, Park, admission ($82 per student) and other trip expenses add up quickly. To ensure that every single student in our 150-member department can attend regardless of their family's income, we’ve launched a GoFundMe.

Your donation, big or small goes directly to helping a young musician take the stage. Every contribution brings us closer to our goal and helps ensure that no student is left behind.
