Support The Dozier Family Through Their Tragic Loss

Jerime Dozier passed away very unexpectedly leaving behind his four children (Mia, Braden, Harper, and Havik ) and loving wife, Beth. Jerime was a kind, loving man that would help anyone that needed it. He loved his family fiercely and worked hard to provide and care for them.

Jerime woke up Monday morning with flu like symptoms. Tuesday morning, he was not breathing correctly and not responding. Beth called for an ambulance, Jerime stopped breathing before it could get there. The paramedics worked on him for a long time before they could get him to the hospital. By noon on Tuesday, they had his heart beating on its own again and were able to life-flight him to Ascension St. Thomas Midtown. He was in ICU on life support and in critical condition. All of his vitals were brought back up and holding but there was to much swelling of the brain. No brain stem reflexes. No blood going to the brain. There was nothing else they could do. They found bacterial infection and sepsis in his blood. Since he was in the 1% of deaths in the country that the brain went first, he was able to still be an organ donor.

So even in death Jerime was able to help people.
