Support The Down Beat: Help Us Create a Trailer

Myself and a small team of friends who also just happen to be artists are working towards creating a video game titled "The Down Beat." Here is a little synopsis of our story:

"The Down Beat" debuts with the rise and fall of a rock band destined for greatness. Led by the enigmatic frontman Vox, the band's dreams are shattered when they sign a record deal with the ominous Mass Appeal Music Corporation. Stripped of their musical identity and scattered to the winds, Vox finds himself trapped in a soul-crushing bureaucratic job, haunted by memories of his lost comrades. But when a mysterious melody stirs within the confines of his mundane office, Vox's dormant spirit is awakened, igniting a fierce determination to reclaim his rockstar legacy. Prepare to be swept away by a tale of loss, redemption, and the unyielding power of music in "The Down Beat."

As of posting this fundraiser, we have over 100 pieces of concept art, 31 songs completed for the soundtrack, a 168-page script, and a growing voice cast. This has all been done without the use of fundraising as of yet, but we're hitting the part of our journey where we need a little help. We want to make a trailer! This requires working with some very talented individuals who need to and deserve to be paid.

We are asking for whatever assistance you can give us, and we cannot wait to take this project to the next level. This fuinding will lead to the creation of a trailer we are calling The Band Practice Trailer and these funds will cover every bit of development and execution of that animation!

Here is a lyric video for "Ordinary Guy" which was written as a tribute to Akira Toriyama and will serve as an introductory track to the game itself!
