Support the Dodson Family After Eaton Fire Loss

Hello! I'm John Dodson, brother of Jared Dodson and brother-in-law to Karen Dodson. We are all based in Southern California, and until recently, Jared and Karen lived in Altadena.

Anyone in Southern California knows how devastating the current wildfires have been. Pictures don't truly showcase how awful they have been and the level of destruction they've caused. Sadly, these wildfires have directly affected Jared and Karen.

The house they just moved into only 3 months ago was completely destroyed in the Eaton fire sometime between Tuesday, January 7th, and Wednesday, January 8th. They evacuated slightly early and gathered up their three kids and drove to our mom's house. Thank God they did because just a few hours later, an official evacuation call would go out and their house would burn to the ground.

They lost absolutely everything in the fire outside of 5 luggage bags they were able to grab before they left. They put as many clothes as they could, but even that's not enough. The kids lost their toys, the parents lost their heirlooms, and the family lost their home.

I wanted to create a place to allow others, who have been asking how they can help, to be able to do so. The money will go towards replacing what they lost in the fire including clothes, furniture, baby clothes, educational material for the kids, food, lost appliances, helping pay for a place to stay, and anything you need to live a normal life after a fire. We know they'll have issues with insurance since the size and amount of others making claims will be huge, so anything that can help them now goes towards them living a normal life again.

Please, if you can, give whatever you'd like, they can use whatever help you can offer. And if now isn't a good time to donate, prayers go very far.
