What Happened

On June 17, 2025, the DeWispelaere family’s life changed in an instant.

Dave, a devoted husband and father, suffered a massive stroke that left him with right-side paralysis, significant speech and memory loss, and the devastating reality that he will never return to work.

He was not just the breadwinner—he was the rock of this incredible family. Now, his wife Angela is left to shoulder everything alone while caring for their two beautiful children, both of whom live with profound special needs.

Dave is a gentle, humble, and hardworking man who’s poured his life into caring for others. Angela, his wife, is his steady partner and full-time caregiver to their children:

- Daniel – lives with severe nonverbal autism

- Alyssa – born with Translocation Down Syndrome

Their needs are constant, and Angela’s days are filled with feeding, hygiene routines, therapies, and now—caring for Dave through his stroke recovery.

Why We’re Asking for Help

We humbly ask for $50,000 to help the DeWispelaere family navigate this crisis.
