For 26 years, the Denton Blues Festival has been more than just an event... it has been a tradition, a gathering place for music lovers, families, and the local community. It has provided a space where people can come together to enjoy live music, support local businesses, and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Denton.
This festival, a gift from the Denton Black Chamber of Commerce, brings joy and unity to the community. From setting up vendor booths to feeling the energy of the crowd during live performances, I witnessed how much this event means to so many people.
However, this year, rising costs threaten the ability to keep the festival free and accessible to all. To continue this legacy, we are launching a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of raising $20,000 to cover essential expenses, including park rental, security, stage production, and vendor infrastructure.
Your support is not just a donation... it is an investment in keeping this tradition alive. The Denton Blues Festival is a vital part of the city’s music scene, and with your help, we can ensure it remains a place where great music, community, and culture thrive for years to come.
Please consider donating today. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Together, we can ensure that the music continues to bring people together in Denton.
