On June 8th, 2025, Kirk DeLong passed away onto the next life after a short, unexpected illness. Kirk was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. There aren't enough words to articulate how difficult and heartbreaking this is for our entire family. We are still reeling from this as we face what comes next.
Unfortunately, our father has left behind a litany of expenses, including medical bills, for us to resolve. Additionally we will also be fundraising to support the process of taking stock, cleaning, and tying up the loose ends of his extraordinary life. In short, the money donated to this gofundme will go to the following responsibilities:
- Medical expenses derived from his illness and end-of-life care;
- Paying off his remaining bills and expenses;
- Travel and expenses related to emptying his storage units and moving his belongings back to California for the family;
- Giving him the send-off he deserves in a private memorial gathering for family in California.
Your donations will help his three children and widow accomplish these goals and regain our balance as we grieve.
