Support the Dearborn/Dearborn Heights Model United Nations Delegation to Cornell University
For the past five years, the Dearborn/Dearborn Heights Model United Nations (DDHMUN) program has brought together students from seven different schools across our community to develop the next generation of diplomats, policymakers, and global leaders.
Our students have competed on some of the most prestigious stages in the country, including Princeton, Yale, and Harvard, representing Dearborn and Dearborn Heights with excellence. This year, following a successful return to Harvard where our delegation brought home awards, we have been invited to compete at Cornell University’s Model United Nations Conference.
Cornell’s conference will bring together top delegations from across the United States and around the world. For our students, this is more than a competition. It is an opportunity to sharpen their public speaking, negotiation, research, and leadership skills while representing our hometowns on a national stage.
Since the founding of this program, we have made a commitment that no student will ever be excluded due to financial barriers. Through community support, local business sponsorships, and scholarships, we cover travel, lodging, and conference registration costs so that talent and dedication are the only requirements.
Your support will help fund:
• Conference registration fees
• Flights and ground transportation
• Hotel accommodations
• Training materials and preparation resources
Every contribution directly supports students and ensures they can continue representing our community with pride and excellence.
If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, please email [email redacted]
Together, we can continue building global leaders from right here in Michigan.
