Support the AJA President David Boesel Memorial Scholarship

The AJA President David Boesel Memorial Scholarship will be awarded once a year to an AJA member of any rank who conspicuously displays the following:

1. high ethical standards;
2. commitment to diligent martial arts training; and
3. desire to help others.

The AJA is indebted to Dave for asserting the primacy of high ethical standards in the Association...an essential concern when martial arts are increasingly afflicted by ethical haziness or outright corruption.

Dave contributed to raising the ethical bar in the AJA in many ways, two examples of which were making background checks mandatory for all applicants, as well as his comprehensive re-writing of the AJA Constitution to upgrade its criteria for rank promotions and certifications.
