Support the Dastrup Family during the Eaton Canyon Fire
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and compassionate strangers. My name is Kim Packard and I live in San Diego, CA. My dear friend Francesca and her two sweet autistic boys have been displaced by the Eaton Canyon fire in California. They left the home they rent with 48 hours of supplies and have not been able to return. They recently learned that their home was spared from the fire, but they do not know if and when they will be able to return until they can evaluate if there was any smoke damage and water or electricity are restored to the area. The home is right on the edge of the fire line and is surrounded by homes that were devastated by the fire. The school her sons attend was destroyed along with the home of the friend who watched her boys while she worked.
Francesca is an incredible singer, performer, and pianist. She supported her boys by teaching voice and piano lessons to families living in the Los Angeles area. Due to the devastation, her source of income has completely stopped. On top of all of this, she has spent the last two years battling debilitating medical issues and going through a very difficult divorce. She has no support from her immediate family and therefore is supporting the boys on her own at this time. She and the boys currently have a safe place to stay with a friend, but she could really use some financial support to help with medical bills, food and to replace her income while they wait for disaster relief assistance and she can start working again. Even the smallest amount donated by many people can make a huge difference. You can donate through Go Fund Me or send donations directly to her via Venmo @Francescamusik. You can also book a virtual piano or voice lesson by visiting her website francescamusik.duetpartner.com.
