My name is Michelle. I’ve know and loved the Dalzell family for close to 20 years.

It is with immense grief and love that we share the passing of Chad Dalzell, devoted dad, loving husband, caring brother, and cherished son. Chad was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, and the disease spread aggressively, leaving very little time for us to prepare emotionally or financially.

In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, we’re asking for your help to cover urgent funeral and medical expenses. Our goal is to raise $15,000, and every donation will go directly toward ensuring Chad receives the farewell he deserves and easing the financial burden on his family.

If you knew Chad, you know he was someone who felt everything deeply — passionate about music, movies, books, and sports, always chasing down the next great band or show. His dedication to building music communities and supporting artists was unmatched. Whether you talked to him about a band you’d never heard of or your favorite film, Chad made you feel seen and heard.

Chad also faced his share of struggles, including battles with mental health, which made his courage in the face of cancer all the more profound. Through it all, he continued to love, to create, and to give — even when life gave him very little in return.
