Support the DaCosta Family Through Their Recovery

The Malucs Riding Club is rallying behind two of our own — Rob and Denise DaCosta — after a devastating accident has turned their world upside down.

There are some families who’ve already carried more than their share of heartache. Rob and Denise are one of them.

This past Sunday, life threw them into another nightmare.

While riding on the 401, Rob and Denise were involved in a serious motorcycle accident. The back tire of the bike blew out, and Rob — doing everything he could to protect them — managed to slow the motorcycle down to about 60 km/h before they crashed.

They both sustained severe injuries. Denise is facing a long recovery, and Rob — who won’t be able to return to work for quite some time — is dealing with the kind of trauma that no family should ever have to navigate.

And yet, life doesn’t pause. The new school year is around the corner, the mortgage still needs to be paid, the kids still need groceries and clothes and care. The weight of it all is heavy — especially when you’re trying to heal.

This fundraiser is about giving them a lifeline.

To help cover daily living expenses: mortgage, groceries, utilities, and school supplies.

To ease the burden just enough so they can focus on recovery and being there for their family.
