We never thought we would be here.

We’re a family of four just trying to stay on our feet, doing everything we were “supposed” to do, and somehow still ended up fighting just to keep a roof over our kids’ heads.

My husband is a disabled combat veteran who has spent years serving this country. He’s given more than most people ever will, and even now, he pushes through things most don’t see just to provide for our family.

I’m currently dealing with serious health issues myself, including needing surgery on my knee and hip, and recovering from multiple emergency procedures. On top of that, we’ve recently gone through a miscarriage. something that has shaken us deeply but also reminded us how much our family means to us.

Despite everything, we kept going. We moved into a new home to give our kids more space, more stability, more of what they deserve.

And then everything fell apart.

Both of us lost our jobs through no fault of our own — just three weeks after moving into a more expensive home we truly believed we could afford. We had a plan. We had stability lined up. And it was taken from us almost overnight.

To make things harder, my husband was denied the PTO we were counting on leaving us with nothing to bridge the gap.

Right now, we’re not asking for luxuries — we’re asking for time.

Time to get back on our feet.

Time to start the new jobs we already have lined up.

Time to make sure our kids don’t feel the weight of this the way we do.

We are trying. We are not giving up.

But right now, we need help.
