Crowley's Crew

You may have seen recently that Vince and Stephanie Crowley have recently come into a sharp turn in their journey.  Vince recently has had another set-back related to his previous kidney transplant. Vince's kidney has recently begun to show signs of rejection, which is incredibly concerning. His medical situation was of such a substantial risk.  On May 11, Vince was admitted to the hospital as his body has attempted to reject the transplanted kidney.  He remained in ICU until he was transported by air to Barnes-Jewish hospital in St. Louis where he received his transplant.  He is now home and once again completing dialysis treatments.
If you know Vince and Stephanie, you know that they have chosen to answer the call on their lives to serve as amazing parents to their two little girls, aged 7 and 2, as well as serving as educators in the public education system in St. Joseph School District.  Vince also serves as a coach for young men through his love of wrestling.  Stephanie serves the community through her love of helping people be healthy in their lives, as well as speaking out against injustices in her scope of influence.  Both have callings on their lives that are selfless, demanding, and done so with little monetary return.  The greatest reward for them is serving others and helping others be their best.  They have worked multiple jobs and live a modest life, but it's simply not enough.
It is our time now to serve Vince and Stephanie and help them when they need a friend the most.  Our hope with this Go Fund Me page is to help Vince and Stephanie pay for costs related to the medical bills, child care, regular household responsibilities, plus to cover the lost wages due to taking days off related to medical visits.  The medical leave days they've had to take relate to both Vince's health as well as the normal amount of days related to raising two young girls who attend child care and school.
As educators, they are offered a limited amount of sick days, and once that amount has been exhausted, they begin to take those days off without pay.  This quickly adds up to several thousand dollars, while the medical costs continue to mount. 
How can you help? Every little bit will help them. At this point, we are seeking to raise $30,000. This will help to cover the travel costs to and from doctor's visits, medications, and visits co-pays and deductibles, child care costs and other costs related to lost wages for missing work.
