Hi, My name is Erica and i am fundraising for my very dear friend and her family. Her husband was recently diagnosed with Cancer at the age of 57 and as the Dr appointments and testing continues more and more information is revealed and the magnitude of what is to come is weighing hard on all of them. My dear friend is a Nurse and has been for over 20+ yrs and is used to caring for people and families during struggling times and would go without if it meant helping someone else in there time of need. Her husband is now limited with working as he embarks on the hardest journey of his life and her 3 children who have just ventured out into the world as young adults are assisting how they can but this means the weight of everything financially will fall on her. She will never ask for help and will run herself into the ground to assure that her husband and family have what they need to get by, in fact when she finds out i am doing this for her im sure she will scold me but for her and her family it will be worth it. As her husbands treatment begins she will be forced to either change shifts with her job or take FMLA to get her husband to and from apts. which will impact them financially and it will impact there health insurance as she is the carrier of the policy through her job. So I'm asking for anyone to help even the smallest amount can make a difference. Lets give back to my dear friend and her family during this trying time.
