Support the Cozzini Family's Medical Journey

Hello Friends,

I am setting up a go fund me in honor of the Cozzini family. They have been going through a great deal of health issues and trials for the past 8 1/2 years. Sadly, Andrew a former graduate of Calvary Academy, had two types of thyroid cancer and his sweet mother, Jill, also had thyroid cancer. The most critical and challenging issue that they are still facing is something called “Cat Scratch Fever” ( Bartonella) which resulted in Andrew having uncontrollable high blood pressure.

The high blood pressure is thought to be caused from a neuroendocrine tumor(s) secreting epinephrine randomly into his blood stream and throughout his body. His neuropathy makes him unable to feel his body and has progressed to sensio-motor-axonal neuropathy. As a result he has had dental complications and has already had $30,000.00 in dental procedures so far and he needs more.

As you can imagine, this has taken a tremendous toll on the family's finances and as such, they are in an immediate need of dire financial assistance. I don’t know if many people realize this but tick born diseases and related issues are not covered by insurance companies. ☹ Additionally, the types of tumors the doctors are looking for, can be as small as a grain of sand, can be anywhere in his body and overlap many medical specialties. The Cozzini's have seen over 160 doctors and Andrew continues to have ever emerging new medical issues daily. Additionally, he is on over 30 medications a day and they have been paying co pays on the medication and monthly health insurance costs and just can’t sustain it. There are so many related conditions that stem from this bartonella which have him basically homebound. They would appreciate any financial assistance and prayer that you can offer.
